The Lonely Shed

by Tim Linden on January 16, 2009

This is my first HDR photo. It's an old shed near the Slocum Post Office. I was taking other photos of the sunset about 90 degrees to the left, but I like this one best because of the loneliness of the shed, and the streak of color across the sky.

That shed was quite interesting, and it sure looked kind of out of place. So, maybe it was a little lonely there.

Very good, Tim. I noticed that all of your photos are copywrighted. How do you do this?

Tim, perhaps you could give us a quick explanation of what is an “HDR photo”.

…your work is excellent!!!

I was going to ask the same question Tim.
How do you do it?

Beautiful scenery, I see that the shed is lonely. It seem nice and quiet. The snow is great, what state are you in. I am in California. Wow nice photo.

Congratulation!
And I think if the taking angle of the house could turn a lit bit left or right that will be more beautiful. And the land’s percent would be better if it was erased a little less.

That is really good.

Tim, I absolutely love this photo. Wow. Partly because of it’s beauty and stillness. The other part is that it feels like one of my father’s paintings in real life. He painted landscapes and I get the same feeling from his paintings and this beautiful photo. Good eye!
