Newport Cliff Walk

by Tim Linden on March 15, 2009

The Newport Cliff Walk is a great place to take a walk. You’ve got 3.5 miles to walk and enjoy the great views of the ocean and mansions. This photo was taken after climbing down the rocks at the bottom of The Forty Steps. The cliff walk is actually up where the tree is. It's hard to get photos that show the actual cliff side of the walk without getting off it.

It is a hard work. Thanks Tim. But the colour is over blue, I think. Nature is the best.

I think it is the blue that really make this photo.

A study in textures-the sharpness of the rock, the flowing of the surf (looks like wind produced some chop) the silky clouds and sky…and the perspective could not have been drawn tighter. (like a rubber band) I love the blue-nice work. I love the ocean in all its phases, it has a breath and a heartbeat.
