There was a large crowd at the Jamestown Penguin Plunge, but I was told by regulars that it was smaller than in the past. I'll have a full gallery on the events page later. For now the guy running with the penguin will do.

These people were crazy, they went in the water when it was 18 degrees out and windy! You can see lots of people bundled up, the snow on the ground, and then crazy people in swim suits running in! My hands were hurting and cold for quite a while after, and I had gloves.. I took many photos of the 2009 North Kingstown Polar Bear Plunge, so if you were in it go check out the full gallery!
