There is an old stone building next to the Beavertail Lighthouse. I decided to take a photo of the lighthouse through the window. You can see the wood from some sort of shelf.

Photos of Beavertail Lighthouse
One of the easiest and well known lighthouses to get to in Rhode Island is Beavertail Lighthouse. There is free parking, it has a great view, and it’s inside Beavertail State Park so you can have something to do when you get there.
This photo of the Beavertail Lighthouse was taken from the water in a Lighthouse Cruise. You can see here the light is shining bright.
