The Poplar Point Lighthouse is no longer in operation. It’s a private residence. You can get photos of it from boat, or walking along the shore line.

The Poplar Point Lighthouse is a private residence in North Kingstown, RI. It’s best seen from a boat, although if you can find a way to walk along the shore it is possible to walk down the rock barrier. But the view isn’t the same.
