Newport is one of my favorite places to walk around and take photos. There’s down town Newport with lots of shops, plenty of historic locations, and of course the ocean views! Cliff Walk, Newport
Just one of the awesome Ocean Views you’ll see walking along the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island.
Bowen’s Wharf Anchor
This is a big anchor over at Bowen’s Wharf in downtown Newport. It goes with the theme of the area very well and is quite large.
The 40 Steps – Newport Cliff Walk
The Forty Steps are along the Cliff Walk. They bring you down almost to the bottom of the cliff, where you can get up close and personal with the ocean. It can be intense when storms are coming and the raging waves are crashing right beneith you.
Newport Cliff Walk
The Newport Cliff Walk is a great place to take a walk. You’ve got 3.5 miles to walk and enjoy the great views of the ocean and mansions. This photo was taken after climbing down the rocks at the bottom of The Forty Steps. The cliff walk is actually up where the tree is. It’s hard to get photos that show the actual cliff side of the walk without getting off it.
