North Kingstown

North Kingstown has many great locations for ocean views, some more difficult to get to than others, but all worth it!

Silver Spring Lake

Silver Spring Lake

Silver Spring Lake is easy to pass, as it’s directly on Route 4 in North Kingstown. There is a waterfall and few fishing spots. It had a weird feeling, peaceful view yet noisy highway right next to it.

Poplar Point Lighthouse

Poplar Point Lighthouse

The Poplar Point Lighthouse is a private residence in North Kingstown, RI. It’s best seen from a boat, although if you can find a way to walk along the shore it is possible to walk down the rock barrier. But the view isn’t the same.

Plum Beach Lighthouse

Plum Beach Lighthouse

The only way to get a good photo of the Plum Beach Lighthouse is by boat. It was cleaned up and painted on the outside, and they are looking for funding to finish the inside. You can find out more information here.

In the corner of my eye I thought someone was watching me, and it kind of spooked me. After a double take I realized it was a fake! This was taken at the end of Main St in Wickford RI.
